Another factor considered in the use of Electrical Insulation Sheet is the insulation strength. The higher the voltage applied at both ends of the insulator, the greater the electric field force received by the charge in the material, and the more likely ionization collision will occur, resulting in insulator breakdown. The low voltage of insulator breakdown is called the breakdown voltage of the insulator. In case of breakdown of 1mm thick insulating material, the voltage kV to be added is called the insulation withstand voltage strength of insulating material, which is referred to as insulation strength for short. Since the insulating materials have certain insulation strength, manufacturers of various electrical equipment, safety appliances, electrical materials and other manufacturers have specified a certain allowable voltage, which is called rated voltage. The voltage borne during use shall not exceed its rated voltage value to avoid accidents.
