TC-900S is the high-performance Thermally Conductive Electrically Isolating material reinforced with glass fiber, which has excellent cut through resistance and excellent thermal resistance. It can be used in electronic and electrical applications that require both thermal conductivity and electrical insulation.

 

The electrical insulation sheet is widely used in many fields, such as MOS power tubes that need thermal insulation. However, different electrical equipment has different use requirements. When selecting thermal insulation materials, it is necessary to select the appropriate type according to the characteristics of the insulation materials. So how to make the right choice? The following 4 points are for reference:

 

1. Coefficient of compressibility:
As the thickness of many materials increases after moisture absorption and decreases after drying, it puts forward higher requirements for the compressibility of the thermal insulation sheet, such as being able to withstand various deformation and shrinkage.

2. Heat resistance:
There are certain requirements for the heat-resistant grade of thermal insulation sheets used in some special occasions. For example, in the application of solar panels, the heat-resistant requirements of the thermal insulation sheet are high. If the selected thermal insulation sheet fails to reach the corresponding level, it is likely to shorten the service life of the whole device.

3. Insulation performance:
There are many kinds of thermal insulation materials, and the insulation strength of different materials is different. In use, we need to have a basic parameter guide for insulation, and then select the corresponding thermal insulation sheet according to these parameters.

4. Mechanical properties:
In the field of mechanical equipment, it is inevitable that vibration, pulling or movement will occur in the process of use, which makes it more difficult to apply heat-conducting insulating sheets to small parts.
