EPS is an electronic power steering system used in vehicles. Its main function is to generate power and assist the vehicle in steering. The EPS controller is installed under the instrument panel of the vehicle and is in a long-term working state after being powered on. In order to ensure the performance of the controller, the temperature of the electronic components and mounting structure in the controller is required to maintain stability. Automotive eps-ecu is the core component of the electronic power steering system. After receiving the data of each sensor for analysis and calculation, it controls the work of the power assisted motor to achieve the role of power assisted steering. EPS control system includes power devices, various chips, power resistors, etc. power loss will occur during operation, and the power consumed will be converted into heat to heat the power device tubes and increase the junction temperature. As the temperature of various chip resistors and controller shells increases, the heat of power devices will increase greatly. If the heat is not dissipated as soon as possible, the internal temperature of EPS will rise rapidly. If the temperature exceeds the normal working range, the devices will be damaged and EPS will fail.

 

The heat of power devices is mainly transferred to the ECU controller shell through heat conducting materials, and then transferred to the air for heat dissipation. With the upgrading of products, MOS tubes consume more and more power, and have higher requirements on the performance of heat management materials.
