Inside the power battery module, there are more than oneortwo places where the Thermally Conductive Encapsulant is applied, such as heat transfer, shock absorption, sealing, solder joint protection, etc. the Thermally Conductive Encapsulant is soft after curing. It has two forms: solid rubber and silicone gel, which can eliminate most of the mechanical stress and play a shock absorption protection effect. It has stable physical and chemical properties, good high and low temperature resistance, and can work for a long time in the range of -50~200 ℃. Excellent weather resistance, can still play a good protective role outdoors for more than 20 years, and is not easy to yellowing. Excellent electrical performance and insulation capacity, effectively improve the insulation between internal components and lines after potting, and improve the service stability of electronic components. With the repair capability, the sealed components can be quickly and conveniently taken out for repair and replacement.

 

Silicone rubber can keep elasticity in a wide temperature range for a long time. It does not absorb or release heat during vulcanization, and has excellent electrical properties and chemical stability. It is the preferred material for potting electronic and electrical assemblies. RTV silicone rubber can be divided into condensation type and addition type according to vulcanization mechanism, and can be divided into single component type and two component type according to packaging form. Condensation silicone rubber usually releases low molecular weight compounds during vulcanization. Therefore, it should be placed for a period of time after potting, and can be used only after the low molecular matter volatilizes as much as possible. The addition RTV silicone rubber has excellent electrical strength and chemical stability, weather resistance, waterproof, moisture-proof, shockproof, non-corrosive, non-toxic, tasteless, easy to pour, deep vulcanization, low shrinkage and simple operation.
