Silicone oil is the basic material in the manufacturing process of thermal conductive silicone grease, which has good waterproof sealing, waterproof, solvent resistance and creepage resistance. In fact, the silicone oil used in high-end or low-end thermal conductive silicone grease is not much different, because the silicone oil itself is a pure insulator, and its thermal conductivity is very poor. The main difference between high-end and low-end heat sink thermal greasein terms of raw materials lies in the various types of metal compounds that can enhance the properties of silicone grease. Generally, common heat sink thermal grease usually adds alumina, while boron oxide, pure silver and other substances with higher price and performance are usually only used on high-end silicone grease.


In fact, it is difficult to distinguish the advantages and disadvantages of heat sink thermal grease with the naked eye, but if we analyze it from the perspective of use, we can clearly see the difference. In addition to the thermal conductivity, the viscosity coefficient, thermal resistance and oil separation of silicone grease will directly affect the use effect of silicone grease. These use effects can be analyzed by professional testing instruments or equipment to obtain the specific performance parameters of silicone grease. There are also silicone grease made from different raw materials. For example, the oil separation degree will affect the service life of heat sink thermal grease. When the oil separation speed of silicone oil in heat sink thermal grease is too fast, the silicone grease will become dry, resulting in a gap between the value and the interface, a reduction in the thermal conductivity area, or a reaction between the medium and air, which will change the nature of the silicone grease and reduce its performance. Therefore, the service life of silicone grease and the stability of physical and chemical properties are also important indicators to judge the advantages and disadvantages of thermal conductive silicone grease.

Instructions

Clean the application surface first, then stir the silicone grease evenly, and then apply the silicone grease to the surface by dot coating, brushing or screen printing. If screen printing is used, it is recommended to use 60-80 mesh nylon screen, and a rubber scraper with a hardness of about 70. When coating, apply silicone grease at about 45 degrees to the coated surface. After the operation, unused products should be sealed and stored in time.

Shelf life of the product is 6 months after date of shipment. Store in a cool, dry, well ventilated place.
