An inverter that converts the DC power in the battery into the AC power used in the motor. There are inverters in hybrid electric vehicles and pure electric vehicles. As a device for connecting the high-voltage battery and the motor power, it receives the DC power output from the power battery and reversely converts it into three-phase AC power for the motor operation.


Inverter generally adopts the design of high-power IGBT. With the development of system size and weight towards light and small, the heat dissipation per unit volume of IGBT module is getting higher and higher, which seriously endangers the stable operation of the system.


The power converter in the inverter needs to consider the insulation problem. The heat-conducting insulating sheet with high cost performance, high insulation and low thermal resistance, high breakdown voltage, glass fiber, tear resistance and puncture resistance shall be selected. In addition to the heat dissipation of key components, the inverter usually uses thermal insulation silicone pad for sealing and protection, which can not only conduct heat dissipation, but also strengthen, vibration proof, moisture-proof, waterproof, and do not corrode metal and non-metal surfaces.
