TC 1500B is a heat cure, low thermal resistance tape. This double-layer low-modules silicone provides low contact resistance and superior adhesion designed to absorb assemble and application shock and vibrations. This unique blend of modulus and strength also reduces application stress due to CTE mismatch.

One factor considered in the use of thermal insulation pad is the insulation strength. The higher the voltage applied at both ends of the insulator, the greater the electric field force received by the charge in the material, and the more likely ionization collision will occur, resulting in insulator breakdown. The low voltage of insulator breakdown is called the breakdown voltage of the insulator. In case of breakdown of 1mm thick insulating material, the voltage kV to be added is called the insulation withstand voltage strength of insulating material, which is referred to as insulation strength for short. Since the insulating materials have certain insulation strength, manufacturers of various electrical equipment, safety appliances, electrical materials and other manufacturers have specified a certain allowable voltage, which is called rated voltage. The voltage borne during use shall not exceed its rated voltage value to avoid accidents.

 

The thermal insulation pad has a high withstand voltage strength of insulation resistance, and can avoid electric leakage, breakdown and other accidents, and avoid aging and deterioration due to long-term overheating.
