The Electrical Insulation Sheet has both heat conducting function and insulation function. Different from the heat conducting silica gel sheet, the heat conducting insulating sheet can withstand higher breakdown voltage under the condition of limited thickness. Therefore, it is widely used in MOS power tubes and other applications requiring heat conducting insulation.

 

The main purpose of using Electrical Insulation Sheet is to reduce the thermal resistance between the heat source surface and the radiator contact surface, including the interface contact thermal resistance. The thermal conductive insulating sheet can well fill the air gap of the contact interface and squeeze the air out of the contact surface. Air is a poor conductor of heat, which will seriously hinder the transfer of heat between the contact surfaces. With the supplement of Electrical Insulation Sheet, the contact surface can be in better and full contact, so as to truly achieve face-to-face contact, and the temperature response can achieve the minimum temperature difference.

 

When electrical insulation is needed, in thin bondline applications, and thermal performance is still imperative, TC Series thermal interface material is what you need. TC Series provide that high cut through resistance and electrical insulation that the most demanding applications require.

 

TC-900S is the high-performance Thermally Conductive Electrically Isolating material reinforced with glass fiber, which has excellent cut through resistance and excellent thermal resistance. It can be used in electronic and electrical applications that require both thermal conductivity and electrical insulation.
